How love for family and digital technology helped me create BuBuTales.net

Today I want to share a story that changed my attitude toward work. It is a journey from ordinary bedtime stories to the creation of the international project BuBuTales.net.

Inspiration: My wife and little daughter. It all started in our cozy home. I saw how my wife tried every evening to find something interesting for our little daughter. When the usual books ran out, we began to improvise: inventing new adventures for Shrek, Elsa, or the characters of "Madagascar."

Watching my daughter's captivated eyes, I realized: these emotions are the most valuable thing. But how to make these fairy tales always at hand, high-quality, and helpful for a child's development? My professional developer "switch" flipped instantly. I realized I had to use my skills to create something special for my girls (and thousands of other families).

1. Concept: A bridge between the screen and reading. I saw how my daughter reached for the tablet to watch a cartoon. Instead of fighting gadgets, I decided to make them our allies. Our mission is to return the love of reading to children through characters they already know and love. Content: We collect and adapt stories based on Disney, Pixar, Anime, and popular games.

2. Professional development: Comfort for parents and children. As a father, I know that parents don't have time for complex interfaces. Therefore, I designed the Bubutales.net website as an ideal "story catalog." Technical excellence: The site is optimized so that a story opens instantly even with a weak internet connection. Vision care: We carefully selected fonts and spacing so that a child's eyes do not get tired while reading from a smartphone before bed. Multilingualism: It is important to us that our daughter hears different languages from an early age, so the site easily switches between Ukrainian, English, German, and other languages.

3. Why BuBuTales.net is more than just a website? For me, participating in this project became the intersection of career and personal life. It is a gift for my daughter, support for my wife, and a family legacy. We involve the whole family in the project. We believe that the path to a book should not be forced. In a world oversaturated with video content, we offer the child a familiar and beloved image as a natural bridge to the text.

Conclusion: Participation in BuBuTales.net gives me a sense of true fulfillment. I am not just a developer — I am creating a digital footprint that helps children love words and parents find a common language with their little ones.
