Song of the sea

There once lived a little girl named Saoirse. She lived on a faraway island with her older brother Ben and their lighthouse keeper father. Saoirse loved the sea very much and often ran to the shore, collecting shells and pebbles. She was a special girl because she could turn into a seal.

One day, when Saoirse was by the sea, she saw a strange white shell. She picked it up and held it to her ear. The shell seemed to sing her a quiet song.

“What a beautiful shell!” Saoirse whispered. “Are you singing to me about the sea?”

Suddenly, her brother Ben appeared.

“What are you doing here, Saoirse?” he asked....
